Description

SADŌ Nishio First Harvest Matcha

Sourced from Nishio, Aichi - Japan's second-largest tencha-producing region after Kyoto - this first harvest ceremonial-grade matcha carries a legacy of tea craftsmanship dating back to the Kamakura era, when the monk Soichi Kokushi is credited with introducing tea to the region.

A refined blend of Gokou and Yabukita cultivars delivers a smooth, rich umami cup with natural sweetness and a mild bitterness - perfectly balanced for both matcha lattes and confectionery use.
